In the last week the park as exploded with fall color. It's still nothing like a hillside of maples out east, but the change is still beautiful and exciting. I'm hoping to add some pictures that Tom and I took later sometime.With the cooler weather it seems like the animals have moved into high gear searching for food for the winter… either that or maybe the days are cooler so they aren't spending so much time hiding from the heat. At any rate, we have started seeing many more bears and coyotes hanging out near populated areas during the day time.
